Set the Goal and Achieve It!

Phew it's been a crazy weekend! I haven't been able to wrap due to...that time of the month..lol but I've been making sure my portion intake, my exercising, and water intake are still what I should be doing.
I asked my brother (who has currently been training for walk on try outs for college football) for some help with my training. He gave me a cardio circuit training that I did last night and I thought I was gona pass out while doing it. Luckily, I didn't, but I am proud to say that I finished it all. I didn't cheat myself and I didn't give up. Which are probably two of my worst habits when I would condition with my rugby or soccer team. I would always worry about being last, so that resulted in cheating myself to the best workout I could've been doing. Last night as I was doing my training I made the goal to just finish it strong and do it all. No matter what the pace I was going I just wanted to make sure I finished and with that drive I finished the circuit in 45 minutes. As soon as I texted my brother to let him know the time I got I was in for quite a surprise. He texted me back to let me know, even though I haven't been working out as much as I'd like to I'm still in pretty good shape. The time that you want to finish the circuit training is between 30-35 minutes...SHOOOOCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG!!!!!!! Haha. I couldn't believe I pushed myself to be about 10 minutes plus from the time that you want to be for being in shape and finish the circuit. It was a relief and a huge motivator to push myself for the next work out he has for me!
You know, although its hard in the beginning--which it will always be--the reward for my dedication, hardwork, and determination is just going to pay off in the end. I've never been so excited to get healthy, fit, lean and mean and to STAY that way! Being healthy is something that will not only pay off for my sexy body that ill get..lol..but also for the long run, when I'm old and won't have to deal with all the medical health issues ill get myself into. Ill probably save myself millions of dollars just by taking care of my body now, instead of when its too late. Honestly, I've never looked at the long run for being healthy until now..and I believe it's helping me make my decisions with what I'm going to do to my body and how I'm going to treat it now. I'm just extremely excited and pumped to get going with this journey and to begin my new life style!!!!
