Having Fun and Getting Lean

Last night my work out consisted of a mile jog to the park with my dog, played a couple games of tennis...which I'm not so bad at. Hahahaa actually surprised myself. Thanks to my pops for those long racquetball sessions at the gym growing up and my amazing ping pong skills. Lol it helped me take stance and position of playing a sport I thought I would suck at. And then a mile walk back home with my best friend Cassie.
Most of the time when I think I need to work out I think of hard sweat running down my face, back, and all these other places I didn't know I could sweat from. Hahahaa. But it's amazing just getting active and getting outside. Getting my butt off the couch and really doing small things like running a short distance, playing a sport, anything that makes you sweat you will be able to feel a difference in your everyday life. Changing the little things that I do at the end of my day has really opened my eyes to the fun things I can do to exercise and stay fit. I don't have to go to the gym every night and spend four hours in there to exercise. I can get out and just have fun with my exercises. Not only that, but watching my portions of my intake on food is something that has really helped me lose weight. This journey is so exciting for me...even waking up in the mornings and lifting up my shirt to see my belly is rewarding. It's not quite where I want it but its getting there. And it's not something people will notice and compliment me on, but it's what I notice and i feel like that's good enough. For once in my life I'm doing this because I truly want it. Not because I got my heart broken and wana show the sucker that lost me that im sexier now then when I was with you. Haha. I'm having fun and getting lean and I'm loving every second that I do this for me!
